Wire Mouth Gag 9.6cm (3.75") long. Maximum opening 5.0cm (2") available at Surgical Holdings Veterinary. All of our stainless steel wire mouth gags for small animals are manufactured in accordance with BS 5194. A wire mouth gag is used to hold an animal's mouth open during dental procedures or examinations. It consists of a wire frame with adjustable loops that fit around the animal's teeth or jaws to secure them in an open position. This allows veterinarians to access and work on the animal's teeth and oral cavity effectively.
